She released her own single "Kiss" in 2009 and has appeared on many popular TV programs, like Star Circle Quest. She met the ABS-CBN TV personality Pauleen Luna for a school assignment and Luna encouraged her to try out for the network's talent show. As one of four members of 2NE1, she sang on the hits "Lollipop" and "Follow Me," the latter used for a Samsung commercial. Her younger brother Park Sang-Hyun was part of the boy band MBLAQ. She and 2NE1 recorded their 2010 album To Anyone with producer will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
